How it works
From inquiry to accepted quote in four steps
No app for your customer to download, and no account for them to create.
- 1
A customer requests a quote
You get a link like detailquote.app/quote/your-business. It opens as a short, mobile-friendly form: name and contact, vehicle year, make, model and type, the service they want, any add-ons, and how dirty the vehicle really is.
- 2
DetailQuote calculates a starting price
Your base price for that service, your adjustment for that vehicle size, your condition amounts and any add-ons are added together into a suggested quote. Those exact figures are frozen to the request, so changing your prices next month never rewrites an old quote.
- 3
You review and publish
Open the request, check the breakdown line by line, set the final amount, add a short note for the customer and internal notes for yourself. Publishing makes the customer's quote page live and gives you a share link.
- 4
You track the lead
The quote moves from Draft to Published, then to Accepted or Declined when your customer answers. If nobody answers within two days, it appears on your follow-up list.
What the calculation looks like
An example using default prices. Your customer only ever sees the final amount — the breakdown stays on your side.
One thing to be clear about
In this version, publishing a quote makes the customer's page live and gives you a link to share — DetailQuote does not email your customer for you yet. You'll see Copy Quote Link, Text Customer and Email Customer buttons that open your own phone or mail app with the message ready to send.
Spend less time writing quotes and more time detailing cars.
